Two years of JayDelano.prv.pl
 We're really pleased to announce that on the 28th November it had been two years since our website was made.
For two years we've been giving you all the information about Jay,
trying to support him at the same time as much as we could. As it's a
nice ocasion to talk about the site itself and let you know some
details you haven't heard of before, let's do that. JayDelano.prv.pl, behind the scenes ;)
Everything has begun on the 10th June 2007,
when we were lucky to win a meeting with Jay shortly after his return
to the stage. It was in Szczecin, on the day of the huge event called
Hity na Czasie, one of the biggest open air events in Poland. We were
happy not only to meet Jay, but also his wife, brother Mac and his
sister Cheryl.
After spending a few hours with Jay and his happy crew before the show,
we got the idea of doing something that could help Jay to get his
audience back. First we were thinking about the Fan-Club, but it would
be rather difficult to get people to join it, as not many of them knew
who Jay was. Then there has appeared another idea. "Why don't we make a website?". That was it.
Jay's wife, Cindy, loved the idea
since the very beginning. Jay himself as well, and we were really
excited about being able to do something for them. You know what it's
like when your favourite artist is back to singing. You want them to
reach the top again, you would do a lot just to do even the smallest
thing to help. Making the website was supposed to be our support, that
little piece of work that we could do to know we are not waiting for
Jay's success without giving anything from our part.
That day in Szczecin was so very special not only because of us getting to know Jay, but also because of that friendly atmosphere that we felt since the very beginning. Since the day 1 we felt like a part of this big family. All
of you who met Jay must know that he's probably one of the most
optimistic and friendly people that you can ever meet! And his crew is
exactly the same!
Since we got to meet Jay in Szczecin, we saw each other during quite a
few concerts later on, and almost everytime the atmosphere was the
same. Jay asking us like an old friend how was uni going, or when one
of us couldn't go, he always asked about the second one. And always
being grateful for the work we've been doing with the website, telling
us he checks it regulary.
Now that it's been over two years since that nice adventure has begun, we wanna thank to all of you
who visit our website, especially to those who are giving us their
support sending emails or asking questions, showing us at the same time
that our work is being appreciated by them. And, of course! We wanna thank you Jay,
for being like you are and for supporting our website-idea since it has
only appeared. You know that even if everybody fails, you can always
count on us, dad! ;)
